Beautifully hand painted with fine attention to detail, the 36 inch long sword features a 27.5 inch blade constructed from carbon steel; the blade comes unsharpened so it is perfectly suitable for costume use. The handbrake style handle is black with silver accents - in the anime this is used to control the soldier’s vertical maneuvering equipment, but here it just makes for a nice touch of realism along with the long leather braided tassel at the pommel that is used to connect the user’s equipment.
