During sunrise, his personality drastically changes from modest and humble to arrogant and prideful, earning him the title "Lion's Sin of Pride".
Escanor wields his iconic one-handed weapon in all of his battles, the sacred treasure the Divine Axe Rhitta. The Rhitta is a giant crescent moon-shaped axe with white tipped spears and an intricate blue handle featuring a semicircular guard with four spikes. When Escanor says the command "Sacred Treasure Release", he instantly releases the power stored inside the Rhitta, in a tremendous wave of heat and light as magnificient as the sun.
