    White deer d2 xxl bowie

Posted by Bob on Feb 12th 2021

Great knife. Same as timber rattler in design must be made by same company. However the blade is thinner. The white deer weights 27 Oz where as the timber rattler weighs 32 Oz. I personally like the lighter weight better. Blade came sharp not razor sharp but the right sharpness for a bowie. I did a crude hardness check on the blade using hardness files and it is definitely around rc 60. Fit and finish is typical for these Pakistan knives which I like. I like hand made knives with slight flaws it gives them character. There are no flaws that effect its function. Everything is tight and the blade straight with a perfect edge. Well worth the money.
